For his previous album “Conversations”, he was awarded the Gospel Music Workshop “Excellence Award” for Contemporary Group of the Year. Greg’s anthem, “I Told the Storm” from his “Conversations” album was nominated for Contemporary Song of the Year. Greg was also nominated for two Dove Awards in the categories of Contemporary Song of the Year “I Told the Storm”, and Contemporary Album of the Year “Conversations”. He was also nominated for a Stellar Award in the category of Best Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year. Greg has just ended a fifty-five city “Storm Tour”, and with incredible success of the album “Conversations”. He has traveled the globe intensively, from Alaska to the West Indies and from Canada to Egypt. In addition, Greg’s single “I Told the Storm”, has been in heavy rotation at the radio stations across the country for over 36 months and is currently #1 at the urban networks. The single is in the top ten of nearly every gospel play list in the country. “I Told the Storm” is the first song in gospel history to hold a position in the Top 10 most requested songs for over 36 months. |
